Job Overview Job Title: Per Diem Alarm Response Security Officer (Overnight) Location: Houston, TX (and surrounding areas: Katy, Humble, Spring, and The Woodlands) Shift: Overnights (9:00 PM – 5:00 AM) Position Type: Per Diem / On-Call Compensation: $25.00 per alarm response + mileage reimbursement + $200.00/month stipend Hourly On-Site Rate: $20.00/hour (for verified alarms requiring over 1 hour of on-site presence) Job Summary We are seeking reliable, proactive Per Diem Alarm Response Security Officers to cover overnight dispatches in Houston and surrounding communities. In this role, you will respond to automated alarm call-outs received directly through a smartphone application between 9:00 PM and 5:00 AM. This is an excellent opportunity for licensed officers looking to maximize their overnight income with a flexible, on-call structure. Key Responsibilities · Overnight Response: Promptly accept and respond to mobile app alarm notifications during the 9:00 PM to 5:00 AM window. · Rapid Deployment: Mark yourself en route within 5 minutes of acknowledging an alarm alert. · Coverage Area: Travel to dispatched locations across Houston, Katy, Humble, Spring, and The Woodlands. · Site Inspections: Conduct thorough physical exterior and interior security sweeps of properties. · Incident Documentation: Document your findings, upload photos, and submit digital reports directly through the app. · On-Site Presence: Secure scenes and wait for emergency services or clients during verified breaches (compensated hourly after the first hour). Compensation & Perks · Base Pay: $25.00 flat rate for every alarm response. · Monthly Stipend: $200.00 guaranteed monthly stipend to ensure your availability during shift hours. · Mileage Reimbursement: Paid mileage for dispatch calls to offset fuel and vehicle maintenance costs. · Extended Stay Pay: $20.00 per hour for any response where a verified alarm requires you to remain on-site for longer than 60 minutes. Requirements · Licensing: Must possess an active Texas TOPS Level 2 or Level 3 registration with card in hand. · Uniform & Gear: Must respond in complete, company-issued uniform, including company ID and Security Registration cards. · Level 3 Equipment: Level 3 officers must have their duty weapons and a complete duty belt ready. · Vehicle: Must have a reliable personal vehicle to travel across the designated service areas. · Insurance: Must maintain, at minimum, active Texas state liability auto insurance. · Technology: Must own a smartphone capable of running our dispatch app with reliable data access. · Schedule: Dedicated availability during the overnight window of 9:00 PM to 5:00 AM. · Background: Ability to pass a comprehensive criminal background check.
