Independent Contract Driver – 26' Box Truck (DFW Metroplex) Location: DFW Metroplex (Dispatch Office: Farmers Branch, TX) Position Type: 1099 Independent Contractor Weekly Earnings Potential: $500 – $5,000+ per week (Dependent on volume and acceptance rate) Availability Needed: Monday – Friday, 6:00 AM – 9:00 PM (Flexible on-demand route dispatch) Overview We are seeking reliable, professional 26' Box Truck Owner-Operators / Independent Contractors to support dynamic freight delivery across the entire Dallas-Fort Worth region. As a contracted driver, you’ll handle a wide variety of local moves—including dock-to-dock transfers, white-glove drops, and strict appointment-based deliveries across residential, retail, healthcare, and warehouse locations. Every day brings different routes and opportunities, giving you the flexibility to take control of your schedule and earnings. Service Types & Operational Scope • Dock-to-Dock Logistics: Standard warehouse and distribution center transfers. • White-Glove Deliveries: High-touch service for residential, commercial, retail, and hospital locations requiring careful handling. • Scheduled Appointments: Time-sensitive freight requiring strict adherence to exact delivery windows. Position Highlights • Flexible Income Potential: Earnings range from $500 to $5,000+ weekly, driven directly by the amount of work available and your job acceptance rate. • Diverse Routes & Cargo: Varied assignments ranging from quick single stops to high-volume days (5–30 deliveries per day depending on freight flow). • Local Operations: Work stays within the DFW metro area, keeping you local every day. Contractor & Driver Requirements Experience & Background: • Driving Experience: Minimum of 12 months driving box trucks or commercial vehicles. • MVR Record: Clean driving record over the last 5 years. • Background Check: Clean criminal history (individual circumstances will be reviewed at management's discretion). • Communication: Must speak fluent English to communicate with dispatch, customers, and site managers effectively. Technology & Equipment: • Mobile Tech: Smartphone with a high-quality camera and the ability to comfortably operate delivery applications for proof of delivery (POD), photos, and status updates. • Vehicle: Must own or lease a 26-foot Box Truck in good operating condition. Compliance & Documentation: • Licensing: Valid, up-to-date Driver’s License. • Documentation: Social Security Card or legal work authorization / Tax ID. • Insurance: Active Commercial Auto Insurance policy explicitly listing the qualifying 26' box truck. • Maintenance: Up-to-date vehicle maintenance logs/reports provided upon request. • Compliance: Full adherence to local, state, and federal transit compliance standards. Schedule & Dispatch • Operating Window: Monday through Friday, between 6:00 AM and 9:00 PM. • Jobs are offered individually as they become available throughout the operating window. Daily volume fluctuates, requiring drivers who are responsive, ready to work, and capable of managing both light days and heavy-duty days.
