As an Access Control Officer at a food and beverage location, you will help maintain a secure environment by monitoring entry points, verifying badges and credentials, managing visitor access, and responding to security-related concerns. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $18.00 / Hour Job Schedule DayTimeThur10:00 PM - 06:30 AMFri10:00 PM - 06:30 AM What You'll Do • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities. • Control access to the food and beverage production location by verifying credentials, processing visitors and contractors, and maintaining accurate entry and exit records. • Monitor access points, alarm panels, cameras, and vehicle traffic at gates, receiving areas, and other designated locations; report irregularities according to site procedures. • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and emergency services as directed. • Conduct regular and random patrols of the business, perimeter, parking areas, and designated operational areas to help to deter unauthorized access and report security-related concerns. Minimum Requirements • At least 6 months of security-related experience is required. • Access control and badge experience is preferred. • Customer service experience is preferred. • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
