Duties • Assist with installation, maintenance, and repair of plumbing, HVAC, and electrical systems under supervision • Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics to support project execution • Use hand tools and power tools safely to perform pipe threading, pipe installation, and system assembly • Support the maintenance and repair of plumbing systems, including leak detection and system troubleshooting • Follow building code compliance standards and safety protocols diligently on all job sites • Participate in remodeling projects by assisting with system upgrades and system maintenance tasks • Help ensure construction site safety by adhering to safety protocols, including power tool safety and proper handling of equipment Skills • Construction experience or background in construction trades preferred • Knowledge of construction plumbing, pipe installation, and basic mechanical systems • Ability to read blueprints and interpret technical drawings accurately • Familiarity with welding techniques and pipe threading processes is a plus • Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to use hand tools and power tools effectively • Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and understanding technical specifications • Excellent customer service mindset when interacting with clients or team members on-site • Understanding of building code requirements and safety standards for construction work • Experience with plumbing system maintenance, repair, and remodeling projects • Commitment to safety protocol adherence, including power tool safety guidelines • Ability to interpret technical drawings for proper installation procedures • Willingness to learn about HVAC systems, electrical wiring basics, and system troubleshooting This paid apprenticeship is designed to empower aspiring tradespeople with the skills needed for a successful career in construction.
