Job Description Line Mechanic Lead Alsip, IL Compensation Includes • Starting Pay Rate of $30 once in adjuster role - Paid weekly • Additional $1/hour shift differential pay for night shift • New Hire Bonus: $250 (paid at 60 days), $250 (paid at 90 days) and $250 (paid at 6 months) Available Shifts • Days: 5am-5pm • Nights: 5pm-5am Responsibilities • Provide production support for the entire duration of the shift • Monitor/maintain and cover 2-3 production lines during shift • Troubleshoot and correct jams, misfeeds, timing issues, poor seals, and handling problems • Supports machine setup, order changes and operations • Coach and guide machine operator functions for consistent uptime and elimate downtime • Conducts preventative maintenance supports with cross functional teams • Set up equipment for product, size, print, and material changes • Adjust guides, rails, belts, sensors, timing, tension, and registration • Perform rebuilds on reusable parts such as : Glue nozzles, splash guards drum finger assembly etc. • Submit accurate production reports daily and in a timely manner • Comply with and enforce all safety policies and procedures, i.e.: proper PPE usage, machine guarding, LOTO etc. are following strictly • Ensure adherence to all quality practices and standards • Follow and enforce all GMP’s and SQF requirements • Support and recommend improvement strategies relating to safety, production output, and quality • Monitor product being run, making sure hourly samples are taken in order to inspect quality and catch any defects and unnecessary waste • Other miscellaneous duties as assigned by management, including food safety Qualifications • 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment • Complete Level 1 and Level 2 Machine Operator on-site as a Junior Machine Adjuster to move into Adjuster Supervisor Role • Ability to lift 50 lbs • 2-5 years food/corrugated packaging machine experience preferred • Effective listening, speaking & writing ability in person and on the phone • Debe poder leer e interpretar documentos como reglas de seguridad, instrucciones de operación y calidad y manuales de procedimientos. • Capacidad para completar informes y registros de rutina y escribir de forma clara y concisa, utilizando buena gramática y estilo profesional. • Capacidad para sumar, restar, multiplicar y dividir. • Autogestión con capacidad de organización y gestión del tiempo. • Debe tener buena vista (sin daltonismo) para detectar fallas en la comparación de colores, configuración de impresión, etc. a medida que las bolsas o películas salen de la línea de producción. #INDQSR Beneficios de la empresa Lo que obtendrá de nosotros Beneficios Con la seguridad como nuestra principal prioridad y el compromiso con el bienestar de los empleados como un enfoque importante, ofrecemos beneficios integrales y competitivos que incluyen seguro médico, dental y de la vista, así como una variedad de otros recursos de bienestar centrados en la salud mental, física y financiera.
