Commercial Cleaner

Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Commercial Cleaner to join our dynamic cleaning team. Duties • Perform thorough cleaning of floors using various techniques such as floor scrubbing, buffing, waxing, and refinishing to maintain a polished appearance. • Operate cleaning equipment including floor buffers, polishers, carpet cleaners, and vacuum systems efficiently and safely. • Handle chemical agents responsibly by mixing, applying, and disposing of floor cleaning chemicals and other cleaning solutions in accordance with safety protocols. • Conduct manual handling tasks such as heavy lifting of furniture or equipment, ensuring proper techniques to prevent injury. • Maintain high standards of cleanliness in all areas by sweeping, mopping, dusting, and disinfecting surfaces regularly. • Apply floor care treatments like waxing and sealing to extend the longevity of flooring materials. • Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to client requests and ensuring their satisfaction with the cleaning services provided. Qualifications • Proven experience in commercial cleaning or custodial services is preferred; janitorial or environmental services experience is highly valued. • Knowledge of floor cleaning chemicals, floor buffing, waxing, and refinishing techniques is essential. • Ability to operate various cleaning equipment safely and effectively. • Strong manual handling skills with the ability to lift heavy objects safely. • Familiarity with carpet cleaning methods and equipment is a plus. • Excellent attention to detail with a proactive approach to maintaining cleanliness standards. • Good communication skills and a positive attitude towards customer service.
