Box Truck Driver

Job Overview We are seeking a reliable and professional Box Truck Driver to join our team. This role involves local route driving, delivery, and pick-up services, ensuring timely and safe transportation of goods. The ideal candidate will have experience with commercial driving, customer service, and warehouse operations, and possess a strong work ethic to support our logistics operations. Duties • Safely operate a box truck for local deliveries and pickups along designated routes. • Ensure the accurate delivery of goods to customers while upholding excellent customer service standards. • Assist with route planning and navigation to enhance efficiency. • Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues. • Maintain proper documentation for all deliveries and pickups. • Adhere to all safety protocols related to heavy lifting, driving, and warehouse operations. • Participate in warehouse activities, including moving inventory as necessary. • Load and secure cargo appropriately to prevent damage during transit. Experience • Proven experience as a delivery driver or courier, ideally with box trucks or similar commercial vehicles. • Strong understanding of route navigation and driving in local areas. • Experience operating warehouse equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks, is a plus. • Ability to safely perform heavy lifting and manual handling tasks. • Prior experience in customer service roles is preferred. • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record, including experience with manual transmission vehicles when applicable. • Familiarity with loading and unloading procedures, route planning, and safety regulations relevant to commercial driving.
