Job Overview Job Title: Café Pastry Baker Reports to: Café Owner / Assistant General Manager Location: On-site Vinings, Georgia THE JOB DETAILS Our Bakers are responsible for prepping, baking, assembling and decorating our delicious pastries and desserts. • Baking Excellence • Measure and shape breads, loaves, and pastries • Bake, and/or fry prepared items • Place toppings, decorate pastries and breads • Training & Support • Demonstrate proper techniques to new bakers & support staff • Complete various reports such as production, usage, and waste • Workspace Environment • Prepare all needed materials and ingredients • Receive, stock, & store food in designated storage areas • Clean, organize & maintain your workspace • Support team members, where needed • NOTE: This role typically requires early morning availability (shifts range from 2am/3am - 7am start times) WHAT YOU NEED • Previous experience in confectionary food service, cafes, and/or bakeries • Food Handler’s Certificate, preferred • Food safety and labeling knowledge • Knowledge of food production process, sanitation, and quality control processes • Weekday, weekend, and/or holiday availability • Ability to prioritize and follow directions • Integrity, efficiency, and dependability • Ability to lift 25 lbs SWEET BENEFITS • Full-time & consistent work schedules available • Fun, engaging work environment • Competitive compensation, plus tips • Cafe discounts • Free birthday or celebration cake • Paid time off • Health benefits for full-time employees • Growth opportunities INTERVIEW PROCESS Our goal is to be as transparent as possible with our employees.
