General Labor Hand

Role Description: Waller Design is searching for a General Labor Hand who will be dedicated, passionate, and energetic while working on the biggest projects in the country. The labor hand will be responsible for assisting in the day-to-day operations, maintaining site cleanliness, ensuring safety compliance, and carrying out manual labor tasks as directed by the site manager(s) and project manager(s). Daily Responsibilites: • Assist in setting up and dismantling event structures, ensuring timely and effective delivery. • Maintain a safe and organized work environment, following all safety protocols to prevent accidents or injuries. • Ensure tools and equipment are in working condition, properly stored, and ready for use. • Contribute to manual labor tasks that are essential for the execution of events and construction projects. • Work closely with team members, designers, and managers to ensure projects are executed according to the company’s standards and client expectations. Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree or higher is a plus. • Forklift & Boom lift Certified preferred. • Previous experience in construction or manual labor is preferred but not required. • The ability to lift heavy objects, perform physically demanding tasks, and work in various weather conditions. • Basic knowledge of safety protocols and willingness to always follow safety guidelines. • Professionalism when being on site. • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift moderate weights for extended periods, with reasonable accommodations considered as needed. • Ability to show up early and on time. • Ability to work under high pressure situations. • Strong organizational skills. • Ability to work long hours and holidays. • Exceptional ability to communicate.
