As an Armed Patrol Officer at a retail and mall location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and respond to security-related concerns. You will provide professional customer service and clear communication while supporting a welcoming environment for guests, tenants, and staff. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $21.86 / Hour Job Schedule DayTime Sat 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM Sun 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM What You'll Do • Provide customer service to tenants, shoppers, visitors, and/or employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate. • Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, requesting additional assistance when needed. • Conduct regular and random armed patrols of retail common areas, storefronts, parking areas, loading zones, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity. • Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the location, reporting suspicious behavior, hazards, and policy violations according to site procedures. • Prepare accurate reports and maintain required documentation related to incidents, patrols, and other security-related activities. Minimum Requirements • Have 3 or more years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience, or possess a college degree. • Possess an armed guard card or license. • Customer service experience is preferred. • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles. • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. • Participate in industry-specific security training programs. • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
